The application form, duly filled in, is to be submitted to the Head, Department of Commerce, University of Calcutta, after payment of Rs. 100/-.

• Deadline for submission of application forms : February 14, 2014 (Friday).
• Publication in the University website of list of candidates eligible for written test : February 28, 2014.
• Date of written admission test [only for non-NET/SET/SLET/M.Phil./M.Tech. candidates] : March 07, 2014 (Friday) [12.00 noon to 2.00 p.m.].
• Publication of list of candidates successful in written admission test (based on cut-off marks to be decided by the appropriate authority) : March 25, 2014 (Tuesday).
• Date of Personal Interview [for NET/SET/SLET/M.Phil./M.Tech. candidates and non- NET/SET/SLET/M.Phil./M.Tech. candidates qualifying in the written admission test]: April 04, 2014 (Friday) [12.00 noon onwards].
• Venue of Written Entrance Test and Personal Interview: Department of Commerce, University of Calcutta (College Street Campus) Asutosh Building, 2nd floor, 87/1, College Street, Kolkata - 700 073.
• Publication of list of successful candidates : April 11, 2014 (Friday).
• Number of Vacancies : 23 (Reservation policy is applicable as per rules).
• Aggregate marks for Written Admission Test : 50
• Aggregate marks for Personal Interview : 50.
• Details regarding Written Admission Test :
  • Research proposal (in about 1000 words) - 30 marks
  • Short essay (in about 600 words) on any topic of contemporary relevance in the field of management, finance or accounting (topic to be specified by the examining authority at the time of the written test) - 20 marks
